VIDEO: Snake on a Plane Grounds Jet in Australia

A tiny Mandarin Rat Snake found on a Qantas airliner in Australia grounded the flight as crew worked to fumigate the jet before it was used again. The snake was found before any passengers boarded, and as Patrick Jones (@Patrick_E_Jones) reports, passengers were put in a hotel for the night.

James Satterfield was arrested after he allegedly sent the judge who oversaw his divorce proceedings a letter detailing how Satterfield would eat the judge’s children. Even worse is that prosecutors say the letter wasn’t sent in a fit of rage, rather, they say he was taking steps to potentially carry out his plan. Patrick Jones has the story.
