ROCKAWAY PARK — A man was shot and clinging to life on Saturday after he was shot by an officer after the man had pulled a 9mm gun out, police said.
Four officers, including one sergeant of the NYPD, found the man on the third floor of a building at 40-20 Beach Channel Dr. when they were responding to a 911 call reporting an assault at around 12:38 a.m., police said.
