Although he has established himself as a businessman, Daniel Chavez Moran was looking for a way to help others in return and a solution to this came in the form of the Vidanta Foundation. For this foundation of his, he chose Dr. Roberto Russell as the head and they will be focusing on the promotion of social sciences and the like in Latin American regions. When it comes to this foundation, they will also be teaching people about humanitarianism and democracy.
Improving the mindset of people when it comes to the need for democracy in Latin America is something The Vidanta Foundation will serve to satisfy. Issues like inequality and injustice are some of the things that the political backing of the foundation hopes to address successfully. They want to improve the social and economic condition of the whole of South America and they are starting this effort through their programs and initiatives.
You should know that the initiatives of The Vidanta Foundation carry the participation of economists and political heads from different countries. In this case, most of the programs of the foundation include a series of dialogues that allow experts from around the world to brainstorm on how to achieve sustainable economic growth. More than that, the foundation provides humanitarian and relief works to fight poverty.
They also see to it that people have published references on the kind of work that they do or need help on. Again, aside from their democratic efforts, they also want to help improve the economy in Latin American regions. One of the two books that depict reasons supporting the relevance of democracy in Latin America is \’Balance del Siglo\’.
Here, the foundation has been established as non-profit thanks to the possibility of funding from the Vidanta Group of Companies. When it comes to the name of the foundation, everything started with the Daniel Chavez Moran philanthropy concept in mind and this is why it was first named after Moran. From using Moran\’s name to using Grupo Maya, it took several years before the name Vidanta Foundation was finally agreed upon.
Because of the continuous efforts being made by the Vidanta Foundation, they have made a significant and charitable impact in plenty of Latin American communities. Besides helping people with the fight against poverty, the foundation also continues initiatives pertaining to the promulgation of the common good. The ideals of Daniel Chavez Moran are what give life to this amazing foundation.
Since plenty of societal conflicts exist in Latin America, besides finding solutions to the problems, the foundation wants the people to know what these problems are and how they start. Here is where economics is only one of the many things being focused on. They need to do this so that a better understanding of the issues is possible.
As much as possible, the foundation would also want to unite the countries that belong to Latin America. Even if they want to unite all of South America, they will practice caution so as not to jeopardize democracy. Part of their action is the process of doing research studies, and writing books and articles.
The foundation will work day and night until they have resolved the last instance of oppression in Latin America. The thing about the foundation is that it is a clear reflection of Moran who founded it. Injustice is something Moran will never accept.
Regardless of his retirement several years back, Grupo Vidanta Daniel Chavez Moran continues with their efforts to help Latin American communities. Prior to the establishment of the Vidanta foundation, there was the Fundacin Delia Moran A.C which helped needy children. This was named after Daniel\’s mom who was an educator well known for her efforts to help needy children.
