VIDEO: El secuestro "express" de un supuesto terrorista







Treinta segundos es lo que dura el secuestro del supuesto miembro de Al Qaeda Anas al Libi en Trípoli por parte de las fuerzas Delta estadounidenses. Ocurrió en octubre de 2013. Testigo de esta acción el vídeo publicado por el Washington Post [ver vídeo] y habría sido grabado por el sistema de seguridad de la familia Al Libi. Esta asegura por su parte que él ya no es miembro de Al Qaeda. A sus 49 años permanece detenido en Nueva York. Había sido acusado por la corte federal del Distrito Sur de la ciudad en 2001 de conspiración para matar a ciudadanos estadounidenses, asesinato y destrucción de edificios propiedad de Washington. Al Libi sería, según la fiscalía, responsable de los atentados contra las legaciones diplomáticas estadounidenses de Nairobi, Kenia, y en Dar es Salaam, en Tanzania, el siete de agosto de 1998. En total murieron 200 personas y más de 5.000 resultaron heridas. Estados Unidos lanzó entonces la Operación Alcance Infinito contra un campamento de entrenamiento de Al Qaeda en Afganistán y una planta farmacéutica en Sudán.

VIDEO: Syria Militant Vows Revenge For Alleged Gas Attack







Abu Mohammed Al-Golani, the leader of an al-Qaida-linked Syrian rebel group, has vowed to target Shiite Muslim villages to avenge a deadly alleged chemical weapons attack in Damascus. President Bashar Assad’s regime is dominated by the Alawite minority, an offshoot of Shiite Islam.
