The government is in full info mode….and this is just a light start. the real bad part is if you drink, smoke, smoke something else, have ANY intake that is traceable, this info will be compiled, listed and sold to many companies. It will also be used for controlling methods of varying degrees by obamacare. Do you really think they will let you slide on healthcare if you have any traceable vice? You will pay out the nose, and then have limits, hope all along they do not try to “reform” you and everything you own. Remember, the libs are great at spending other people’s money to fund controlling their lifes…

Driver"s remarkable escape from giant boulder landslide caught on camera

Lai Hong-wei, the driver who filmed the extraordinary footage with a camera mounted on his car’s dashboard, later told reporters he was left shocked by what took place just metres in front of him.

The white saloon in front was hit by a sudden landslide, suffering severe damage, but was miraculously missed by a giant boulder that came to rest just inches from the vehicle.

Incredibly, the driver and front seat passenger made it away with only minor injuries.

Footage from local television news network ETTV showed the extensive damage to the car caused by the landslide that was triggered by Tropical Storm ‘Kong-Rey’ and its days of heavy downpours.

The Central Weather Bureau said Taiwan could continue to see torrential rain across the island until next Monday.

Three people were reported dead on Friday after the storm flooded Taiwan.

Drivers warned of new "flash for cash" insurance scam

The criminals can make money by putting in false personal injury claims for whiplash, billing insurance firms for loss of earnings, or submitting fake bills for vehicle storage, recovery, repairs and replacement car hire.

“The problem is a growing problem,” he told the BBC.

“Financially it costs insurers £392m a year. That impacts on motorists as it’s an extra £50 to £100 on every person’s premium, so that’s a financial cost.

“[There are] emotional costs [as] if you’re involved in a crash you could well lose your confidence, and if your passengers are children they may well become wary of being passengers in cars, and of course you may get injured or killed.”

“Flash for cash” is a variation on the well-known car insurance scam known as “crash for cash”, in which criminals slam on their brakes for no reason, forcing the victim to smash into the back of their vehicle.

Similar insurance claims are then made by the fraudster, with the same risks posed to the innocent motorist they have targeted.

In February, four conmen were jailed at Reading Crown Court in Berkshire after the death of Baljinder Kaur Gill, a 34-year-old driver killed in a car crash that had been staged to claim a £20,000 insurance payout.

The incident was the first time a “cash for crash” scam was known to have caused the death of a driver.
