When was the last time you have heard on the news about police officers who have saved a woman from being raped, a child from being kidnapped or an elderly person from being robbed? All I’m hearing on the news is how the swat teams is breaking to the wrong houses, [1] or how police unlawfully entering private properties and disturbing the peace of the people at music and art festivals, while arresting nonviolent people who are peacefully exercising their constitutional and human right of pursuing their happiness by exploring their consciousness and creative potential.[2]

I can speak to it personally since I spent years going to this type of events in my early 20th. And I never saw any act of violence during those festivals other than that which was occasionally brought by the police force invading the parties.

I always felt uplifting during and after those events while meeting new like-minded people who were just like me at the time, searching for their hearts. Of course, there wasn’t much wisdom flowing between the trees in the forest , but there was an ambient environment in which I could relax more and reflect on my life while watching the night sky, time to time glimpsing on the happy, dancing people.

That wasn’t a spiritual adventure per se, and yet, it served its purpose. There would not be an end to this article if I were to address all the incidents of police brutality which is seen everywhere in America these days. Excessive force and extreme violence by the cops is flooding YouTube.

To battle this unwanted exposure, authorities are continuously making attempts to make it illegal to film the police who also are called a law enforcement officers. [3] But lets think for a moment what laws are they enforcing when they are tazing elderly people to death? [4]

What laws are they enforcing when they are arresting a 5 year old kids? [5] What laws are they enforcing when they beat a homeless person to death? [6] Or shooting a Sunday school teacher for rolling up her window [7] Or shooting an unarmed motorist in the back[8]

Well, of course, they do not enforce any law, when in fact, they are breaking the law while enforcing their own inflated egos while being on the power trip. But the good news is that there is a growing movement of the oath keepers, current and former U.S. military and law enforcement officers, who are willing to disobey any orders that they are given if they believe they violate the Constitution, which is essentially your only protection and an inherent right. These are your friends in the government.

The observable police violence which is flourishing these days would be shocking news for someone who has never looked deeper into the history of the world tyranny, and he would probably dismiss it as separate incidences with no connection to anything else.

But for others, who have been studying the past, the current police brutality would signify something different. It would be sending a message of a coming profound change in the free and democratic society, which United States ones was. It would signify the end of freedom and beginning of tyranny and oppression.

You see, you don’t have to be a prophet to predict obvious trends while looking at the current events. The militarization of police will mean more brutality since now they are trained to look at you like an enemy combatant. After all, under the recently passed NDAA Act, your neighborhood is now considered to be a battlefield.

And it is only a matter of time before you will see soldiers on your streets like you see in Iraq. Government agencies are arming themselves to the teeth while trying to portray patriots, returning veterans, constitutionalists, libertarians and Ron Paul supporters as a domestic threat.[9] Even the TSA is now arming itself while looking for Osama bin Laden in your underpants and baby dippers in the airports while molesting law abiding citizens and stealing their belongings.[10][11] [12][13]

What are they preparing for? Are they expecting people to finally rise and push back the oppressive regime while defending their constitutional rights? I don’t know. But I truly hope that a bloody picture which I see on the horizon is a mirage.
