VIDEO: NY City Council Approves NYPD Oversight









The New York City Council voted to approve new oversight for the NY Police Department, and to create easier standards for racial profiling lawsuits. The measures stemmed largely from concern about the NYPD’s use of the stop and frisk tactic. (Aug. 23)
