  • A shrubbery in Windsor, Ontario was trimmed into a “more traditional shrub shape” on Wednesday by officials after someone sculpted the 10-foot-tall bush into the shape of a penis earlier in the week. According to Canada’s Metro News, the Windsor Parks Department sent workers to the site after the officials were notified by the Canadian Broadcasting Company about the X-rated prank.

Local blog Windsor Square broke the news about the penis-shaped bush on Monday, writing, “(T)his natural sculpture is located in the second park from the bridge,” and saying that the source of the photo “is not certain when it was erected. Nor does he know who the model was for the sculpture.”

Parks director John Miceli told Metro News that the department still has no idea who sculpted the bush into the shape of a phallus, but “(w)hoever the individual was is quite talented, to be honest.”

Artistic merits of the giant penis aside, however, Miceli said that the culprit will be charged with destruction of municipal property if caught.
