Over these past two decades the phenomenon of a noisy earth has returned to humanity’s awareness as the planet groans its way to a new, larger size.
As great as these earth groans are in their soul stopping effect, let me be the first to suggest that “you ain’t heard nothing, yet”…
Over the next few days and weeks, a crisis of currency will set into the planet’s sovereign states paper debt instruments like dengue fever moving through a crowded refugee camp.
This crisis of currency already has a cause, and has predictable effects that will play out in due course. We know the first of these effects as reports are even now appearing: Chinese Yuan is collapsing. It also has predictable follow-on effects such as the popping of the global housing bubble(s).
These effects were suggested as probable by the linguistics of these last few ALTA reports, and are now manifesting. The details WILL vary as universe insists on owning Surprise, but the general effects discussed have begun in earnest now that the Chinese economy is manifesting this next liquidity crisis. Pay attention to currency trends shifting, as well as precious metals (physical, physical…gotta get physical) local prices. Assumptions also that bitcoin will prosper during the upcoming ‘time of opportunity’…we recall that in all crisis, exists both challenges, and opportunities.
Note that all bubbles, especially those of recent decades, are ONLY ‘cured’ by debt bubbles of even larger proportions. Problem for all of us humans here on terra is that China was the Largest Bubble Of Them All. And when it popped a great wind blew out, and now a giant sucking sound has started as liquidity is being drawn back to fill the now, suddenly quiet empty, huge space.
So now what can ThePowersThatBeTremblingInTheirShitFilledBoots do?
Not a damn thing. The herd has been spooked, and the stampede has begun.
Only those first out the door will survive with most of their ‘hide’ intact. The global ‘pile-up’ promises to be immense and, planet altering.
It will be a tremendous ‘natural event’, on par with any large, earth changing tumult. Get your snacks while you may, the show has started.

China dismissed a UN report alleging North Korea has committed crimes against humanity, effectively confirming the fears of human rights advocates that Beijing will shield its ally Pyongyang from international prosecution.
The report, published in February, accused the reclusive country of mass killings and torture comparable to Nazi-era atrocities and said officials, possibly even Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un himself, should face the International Criminal Court (ICC).
Chen Chuandong, a counselor at China’s mission in Geneva, told the UN Human Rights Council on Monday that the independent commission of inquiry had made unfounded accusations and made recommendations that were “divorced from reality.”
“The inability of the commission to get support and cooperation from the country concerned makes it impossible for the commission to carry out its mandate in an impartial, objective and effective manner,” Chen said.
China, as a member of the UN Security Council, would have the power to veto any move to refer North Korea to the Hague-based ICC. Diplomats had already warned China was likely to object to the report, which also criticized Beijing for its treatment of North Korean defectors.
The chief author of the report, retired Australian judge Michael Kirby, had opened the debate urging the United Nations to take action.
“Contending with the scourges of Nazism, apartheid, the Khmer Rouge and other affronts required courage by great nations and ordinary human beings alike,” Kirby said.
“It is now your solemn duty to address the scourge of human rights violations and crimes against humanity in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.”
Kirby said the team’s findings, based on testimony from hundreds of victims, defectors and witnesses, were unequivocal, and demanded closure of political prison camps believed to hold up to 120,000 people.
But Chen said the report was based on information and interviews collected outside the country, without first hand information. “The question then arises: can such an inquiry be truly credible?”
The commission has been seeking a meeting with Chinese officials in Geneva, UN officials said. “We are not very optimistic that it will happen,” a UN official told Reuters.
Defector
Shin Dong Hyuk, a North Korean born in a political prison camp who escaped after his mother and brother were publicly executed, told Reuters he had expected China to reject the report.
But the “big purpose” of establishing the inquiry was to get the report discussed at the UN Security Council, he added.
In a speech at the Geneva debate, he noted that millions of people had been slaughtered in Nazi concentration camps during World War II.
“And 60 years later, at this moment in North Korea, hundreds of thousands of political prisoners are waiting for their death,” he said, adding that the report could not be “thrown away like a used tissue and forgotten”.
US Ambassador Robert King, the US envoy on North Korean human rights issues, said pressure on Pyongyang would go on even if China blocked a UN Security Council resolution.
“The fact that right now we may not be able to go forward as far as we’d like to go does not mean that we’re going to stop and say we can’t do anything more, and we’re not going to do it,” he told reporters. “Human rights are not a quick and easy fix and we’re not going to stop.”
North Korean Ambassador So Se Pyong reiterated Pyongyang’s rejection of the report, rubbishing it as a ridiculous provocation and a fabrication instigated by the United States and other “hostile forces,” who he said should be investigated for their own human rights records.

LONDON (Reuters) – A U.S. Federal Reserve meeting and Western sanctions on Russia will give financial markets plenty of pause for thought in the week to come but it could be China that sets the economic weather.
World markets were upended last week by the first Chinese default on a domestic bond and the prospect of more to come at the same time as evidence mounted that growth in the world’s second-largest economy is slowing.
The upcoming Chinese data calendar is light but the picture seems clear – growth in investment, retail sales and factory output have all slumped to multi-year lows, suggesting a marked slowdown in the first two months of the year.
Chinese premier Li Keqiang said the economy faced “severe challenges” in 2014 and hinted Beijing would tolerate a slower expansion while it pushes through reforms aimed at providing more sustainable growth in future.
He also flagged the government will allow further debt defaults. Chinese corporate debt has reached unprecedented levels.
Bank America Merrill Lynch has cut its first-quarter growth forecast for China to 7.3 percent from 8.0 and is revising down its full-year estimate too.
There may be a counter response. Sources involved in internal policy discussions told Reuters that the central bank was prepared to cut bank reserves if growth slowed further, though they said action may only happen in the second quarter.
The other motor of world growth – the United States – has a monetary policy meeting to contend with.
The Federal Reserve could use its March 18-19 session to sketch out its plan for eventual interest rate rises, in its formal statement or in new chairman Janet Yellen’s news conference.
The Fed has signaled the first rate rise is likely to come around the middle of next year as long as the U.S. economy keeps healing, but for now the vista is clouded by an unusually harsh winter and its effects on economic data.
Three top Fed officials said on Wednesday that the economic outlook would have to change dramatically for it to alter the pace at which it winds down its bond-buying program, a process which has cause turmoil in emerging markets.
Thirty-two of 63 economists surveyed by Reuters forecast the Fed would lift overnight rates in either the second or third quarter of 2015, while 14 saw a rate hike coming earlier.
RUSSIA AND THE WEST
With Crimeans expected to vote to join Russia in a referendum, U.S. and European Union sanctions on Moscow are set to be imposed.
The EU has drawn up a list of 120-130 senior Russian officials who could be subjected to travel bans and asset freezes. One EU official said it contained the names of generals and others from the top echelons of Russia’s military and political establishment.
That will do nothing to help Russia’s already struggling economy and, while it probably cannot afford to disrupt its supply of gas to Europe, it could well retaliate in ways that will damage the West.
“Obviously Russia will not back down so it all points to an escalation,” said Viktor Szabo, a fund manager at Aberdeen Asset Management.
Politically this story dwarfs all others in the world but economically, some perspective is required.
Scott Anderson, chief economist at Bank of the West in San Francisco, noted that on a purchasing power parity basis China has 15 percent of global GDP, Russia has 3.0 percent and Ukraine 0.4.
But in sum, Anderson said, “the downside risks to the U.S. and global economy from emerging markets should not be taken lightly”.
The UK’s annual budget, on Wednesday, is always a big set piece but there has been an unusual dearth of leaks and speculation in advance, indicative perhaps of a steady-as-she-goes approach by finance minister George Osborne rather than a grab for votes.
Having put so much political capital into reducing the deficit, to switch tack now at a time that the economy is recovering strongly could be costly.
While the deficit has come down it is forecast to be about 7 percent of gross domestic product in the current fiscal year, still much larger than in other big economies in the European Union.
“With his current fiscal plans on track, the chancellor seems unlikely to set out material new austerity measures,” said Nick Bate, economist at Bank America Merrill Lynch.
“But at the same time, despite a general election being just over a year away, there seems little scope for significant fiscal loosening, given that the deficit remains so large.”

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. first lady Michelle Obama is expected to steer clear of controversial issues such as human rights when she visits China this week but her trip could help advance a top item on her husband’s foreign policy agenda: deepening Washington’s ties with Beijing.
The week-long trip marks only the third foreign solo trip for Obama, who has cultivated a self-described “mom in chief” image, putting her energy into raising her daughters Malia, 15, and Sasha, 12, and signature domestic policy issues such as combating childhood obesity.
She has joked that her motto during her husband’s White House tenure has been to “do no harm.”
In keeping with that cautious approach, the White House said Obama’s message on the trip will focus on cultural ties between the two countries and “the power and importance of education” for young people in both countries.
But her trip, which will be front-page news in China and closely parsed by media, will carry important symbolic value.
“There’s no better surrogate for a president overseas than their spouse,” said Anita McBride, who was chief of staff to former first lady Laura Bush.
McBride said Obama’s visit with Chinese first lady Peng Liyuan can send a powerful diplomatic message, even if what they discuss has little to do with pressing bilateral issues.
“Those are images that convey a relationship,” she said.
Obama will also visit with students and schools, and take her daughters to see the famous Terracotta Warriors.
Since taking office in 2009, President Barack Obama has put a high priority on bolstering the U.S. relationship with China. That goal could take on even greater significance given the deep rift has opened up between the United States and Russia over the Ukraine crisis.
Former first ladies Laura Bush and Hillary Clinton used their time in the international spotlight to forcefully elevate tough questions about human rights abroad.
In 1995, Hillary Clinton, wife of former President Bill Clinton, criticized China’s human rights record in a speech at a United Nations conference in Beijing.
But it is unlikely that Michelle Obama, a Harvard-educated lawyer, will follow in their path.
“She has chosen a more traditional, non-confrontational role as a first lady,” said Laura van Assendelft, a political scientist at Mary Baldwin College. “Other first ladies have pushed those boundaries. Michelle Obama is not pushing any boundaries.”
As first lady, Obama traveled to Mexico in 2010 and to Africa the following year. A private trip to Spain in 2010 with daughter Sasha backfired when she was criticized for spending taxpayer funds on security for what amounted to a holiday.
Now that her husband is in his second term, and does not have to worry about being reelected again, Michelle Obama may take more foreign trips to advance policy goals, McBride said.
“You begin thinking about what you want to leave behind,” said McBride, now at American University in Washington.
Laura Bush traveled to 67 countries to talk about human rights and global health issues during the four years that McBride worked with her, including a notable visit to a refugee camp on the Thai-Burma border to shine a spotlight on conditions there.
THREE GENERATIONS
Obama will deliver another strong, if unspoken, message by taking her daughters and her mother, Marian Robinson, with her to China, said Robert Daly, director of the Wilson Center’s Kissinger Institute on China and the United States.
Robinson lives with the Obama family in the White House.
“The Chinese are very big on three generations under one roof. That is one of the cornerstones of their culture,” Daly said. “That will play very well in the Chinese media.”
Pictures of the three generations of four strong women will make a statement about women’s equality and opportunity, and shatter a stereotype long held by Chinese about how Americans mistreat their elders, he added.
Obama’s visit comes before her husband visits Asian allies Japan, South Korea, Malaysia and the Philippines in late April, a trip where the maritime dispute with China is expected to loom large.
China and Japan each claim sovereignty over a group of uninhabited islands in the East China Sea, and China is also fighting over territory in the South China Sea with the Philippines, Vietnam, Taiwan, Malaysia and Brunei.
Ahead of the president’s trip, the White House will want “sweetness and light” from Michelle Obama’s China visit, said Dan Blumenthal, an adviser on China issues in the former George W. Bush administration.
“She can just be who she is, and it’s a win. She doesn’t have to carry a tough message,” said Blumenthal, now director of Asian studies at the American Enterprise Institute think tank.

A fossil bed in China that is being called “Jurassic Park” has yielded perhaps the greatest dinosaur soft tissue discovery of all time. According to media reports, “nearly-complete skeletons” have been discovered that even include skin and feathers. But of course if these dinosaurs are really “160 million years old”, that should be absolutely impossible. Needless to say, this shocking discovery is once again going to have paleontologists scrambling to find a way to prop up the popular myths that they have been promoting. What they have been telling us simply does not fit the facts. The truth is that this latest find is even more evidence that dinosaurs are far, far younger than we have traditionally been taught.
Once upon a time, scientists believed that it would be impossible to find anything other than the hardened fossilized remains of extinct dinosaurs. And if those dinosaurs really were millions of years old, those scientists would have been 100% correct. But instead, we are now starting to find dinosaur soft tissue all over the place. The following is an excerpt from a recent Daily Mail article about this new discovery in China…
Almost more impressive than the diversity of the biota is the preservation of many of the vertebrate specimens, according to the study published in the Journal of Vertebrate Palaeontology.
Fossils include complete or nearly-complete skeletons associated with preserved soft tissues such as feathers, fur, skin or even, in some of the salamanders, external gills.
One is the feathered dinosaur Epidexipteryx whose soft tissues have been revealed by the use of ultraviolet light scanners.
A fossil of the salamander Chunerpeton shows not only the preserved skeleton but also its skin and external gills.
Wow.
Hopefully scientists in the west will get a chance to closely examine these soft tissue samples.
Prior to 1991, you would have been laughed out of the room if you had suggested that we might dig up the soft tissue of dinosaurs someday.
But all of that changed when Mary Schweitzer, a molecular paleontologist at North Carolina State University, did something that was absolutely unthinkable. The following comes from an article in Smithsonian Magazine…
In 1991, Schweitzer was trying to study thin slices of bones from a 65-million-year-old T. rex. She was having a hard time getting the slices to stick to a glass slide, so she sought help from a molecular biologist at the university. The biologist, Gayle Callis, happened to take the slides to a veterinary conference, where she set up the ancient samples for others to look at. One of the vets went up to Callis and said, “Do you know you have red blood cells in that bone?” Sure enough, under a microscope, it appeared that the bone was filled with red disks. Later, Schweitzer recalls, “I looked at this and I looked at this and I thought, this can’t be. Red blood cells don’t preserve.”
Schweitzer showed the slide to Horner. “When she first found the red-blood-cell-looking structures, I said, Yep, that’s what they look like,” her mentor recalls. He thought it was possible they were red blood cells, but he gave her some advice: “Now see if you can find some evidence to show that that’s not what they are.”
What she found instead was evidence of heme in the bones—additional support for the idea that they were red blood cells. Heme is a part of hemoglobin, the protein that carries oxygen in the blood and gives red blood cells their color. “It got me real curious as to exceptional preservation,” she says.

Of course since that time, many others have also dug up dinosaur soft tissue. At this point, more than thirty specimens have been discovered and tested, and the specimens have come from an impressive array of various dinosaurs…
The dinosaurs and other Mesozoic creatures that have yielded their biological material are hadrosaur, titanosaur, ornithomimosaur [ostrich-like dinosaurs], mosasaur, triceratops, Lufengosaurs, T. rex, and Archaeopteryx.
When Schweitzer originally made her discovery public, she was viciously attacked by other evolutionists who insisted that finding dinosaur soft tissue that was millions of years old was absolutely impossible.
And those evolutionists were right.
If the dinosaurs were really that old it would be impossible.
But now sample after sample and test after test have proven without a shadow of a doubt that we really are digging up dinosaur soft tissue.
Schweitzer and other paleontologists that are desperate to prop up their existing theories are now suggesting that “iron in the blood” could have preserved the soft tissue that we are finding for all of these millions of years.
If you believe that laughable theory, I have a bridge to sell you.
But there are a lot of people out there that are so desperate to keep believing their flawed version of “the truth” that they are actually buying it.

And of course it is not just soft tissue that scientists have to account for…
It is not just dinosaur soft tissue, either, but the presence of detectable proteins such as collagen, hemoglobin, osteocalcin, actin, and tubulin that they must account for. These are complex molecules that continually tend to break down to simpler ones.
Not only that, but in many cases, there are fine details of the bone matrix, with microscopically intact-looking bone cells (osteocytes) showing incredible detail. And Schweitzer has even recovered fragments of the even more fragile and complex molecule, DNA. This has been extracted from the bone cells with markers indicating its source such that it is extremely likely to be dinosaur DNA.
In this case, I think that it would be very appropriate to apply Occam’s razor. The reason why we are finding dinosaur bones with soft tissue in them is because they simply are not very old.
And when we carbon date dinosaur bones, it tells us the exact same thing.
Due to the rate that it decays, there should be absolutely no measurable radioactive carbon left in anything that was once living that is greater than 100,000 years old.
So there should be absolutely no measurable radioactive carbon in dinosaur bones.
But instead, that is precisely what we find. Here is one example…
“In June of 1990, Hugh Miller submitted two dinosaur bone fragments to the Department of Geosciences at the University in Tucson, Arizona for carbon-14 analysis. One fragment was from an unidentified dinosaur. The other was from an Allosaurus excavated by James Hall near Grand Junction, Colorado in 1989. Miller submitted the samples without disclosing the identity of the bones. (Had the scientists known the samples actually were from dinosaurs, they would not have bothered dating them, since it is assumed dinosaurs lived millions of years ago—outside the limits of radiocarbon dating.) Interestingly, the C-14 analysis indicated that the bones were from 10,000-16,000 years old—a far cry from their alleged 60-million-year-old age.”
And the truth is that radioactive carbon is being found in dinosaur bones that have been excavated all over the planet…
Real Science Radio interviewed a scientist returning from the American Geophysical Union’s conference in Singapore where his international team presented results from five respected laboratories documenting significant quantities of Carbon 14 in bones from ten dinosaurs excavated from Alaska, Europe, Texas, Montana, and China’s Gobi Desert.
Additional evidence for the young age of dinosaurs comes from the fact that we find very accurate depictions of dinosaurs in ancient artwork all over the planet. This is something that I covered in my previous article entitled “Why Does Ancient Art Contain Depictions Of Flying Aircraft, Helicopters And Dinosaurs?”
Considering the fact that we only started digging up dinosaurs a couple hundred years ago, how did those ancient people know what they looked like?
That is something to think about.
I realize that this article is going to directly challenge things that a lot of people have believed all of their lives.
But we are never going to get anywhere if we just have blind faith in whatever the system tells us to believe.
