MSNBC Chatter of Punishing "Genetic Winners" With Obamacare Gets Rush Limbaugh"s Goat

Tim Graham

Obamacare and Romneycare architect Jonathan Gruber was all over the cable-news networks this week as Obamacare collapse deepened. Rush Limbaugh especially focused on Gruber’s utopian talk of “genetic winners” unfairly paying less for health insurance on MSNBC’s The Daily Rundown.

“We currently have a highly discriminatory system where if you’re sick, if you’ve been sick, if you’re gonna get sick, you cannot get health insurance.  The only way to end that discriminatory system is to bring everyone into the system and pay one fair price,” proclaimed the MIT technocrat to Chuck Todd. “That means that the genetic winners, the lottery winners who’ve been paying an artificially low price because of this discrimination now will have to pay more.” Rush replied:

LIMBAUGH: I think that Mr. Gruber believes that he’s part of the genetic aristocracy, and I think Obama thinks that he is part of the genetic aristocracy, ’cause they’re the smartest in the room.  They believe in a genetic aristocracy just like they believe in an economic aristocracy.  And they’re in it.  Oprah thinks that she’s in it.  So does this idiot, Toure.  I’m sure he thinks he’s in the genetic aristocracy.

All of these libs think they’re smarter than anybody. These faculty lounge theorists, they sit around and they talk about how stupid everybody else is and how if they had control, how they’d finally make everything work right.  And we’re seeing how the genetic aristocracy makes things work, because we’re being ruled by the genetic aristocracy.  We’re being governed by an elite aristocracy of the mind, Obama, et al, and his lib buddies.

So Obama and Gruber and all their friends, their status is life largely due to being born into the acceptable physical and social class.  And that is affirmed by what university they get into.  So that makes them part of the aristocracy.  And then, by right of being in that class, in that elite aristocracy, they get to punish other lottery winners on behalf of the genetically inferior.

They are the genetic aristocracy.  They’re the winners of the genetic lottery.  They get to sit here and determine who the losers are, and they tell others who are also okay, but not really qualified to be in the aristocracy, “You’re gonna pay through the nose because those people are genetically inferior.  And we’re gonna call that fairness.  And we’re gonna call that nondiscrimination.  And we’re gonna call that fixing this country.”

Story Continues Below Ad ↓

AlanJoelNY at RedState had the same feeling:

The idea of a “genetic winner” is incredibly chilling. Brave New world-ish even. It completely removes the idea of personal responsibility in the health equation.

The Affordable Care Act is only about being affordable to some. It is revealed to be another giant wealth transfer. Take the genetic lottery winners, kick them off their freely chosen policies, put them on the more expensive Obamacare government exchanges, and subsidize those who have been discriminated against to make it fair for all.

Fairness is yet again the objective of, and gift from, the government — no matter the cost to our wallets or our dignity.

An MRC colleague of mine said this whole discussion reminded him of Kurt Vonnegut’s 1961 sci-fi fable “Harrison Bergeron.”

It is the year 2081. Because of Amendments to the Constitution, every American is fully equal, meaning that no one is smarter, better-looking, stronger, or faster than anyone else. The Handicapper General and a team of agents ensure that the laws of equality are enforced. The government forces citizens to wear “handicaps” (a mask if they are too handsome or beautiful, earphones with deafening radio signals to make intelligent people unable to concentrate and form thoughts, and heavy weights to slow down those who are too strong or fast).

Hannity And Anthony Weiner Clash Over Weiner"s MSNBC Aspirations

Former congressman and failed New York City mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner went on Hannity Wednesday night in an attempt to discuss his future plans and the ongoing debt ceiling battle in Washington, but within a few minutes, the conversation became totally derailed.

Near the end of the clip, after such classic lines as, “I get to do questions! What am I? A potted plant?” and, “Do I hate you? No!” Hannity seems to come to an epiphany about why Weiner agreed to come on the show.

“You’re auditioning for MSNBC. You’re auditioning! You want Chris Matthews’s job. I can tell! You want to ask the questions. You wanna be Chris Matthews. You never shut up like Chris Matthews either,” he jokes.

“Fox apparently has much lower standards. I’d much rather have a job on Fox,” Weiner hits back.

“Oh, ouch. Ooh. You want me to talk about low standards? You really wanna go there?” Hannity finishes.

Alec Baldwin in talks to host MSNBC show

Actor Alec Baldwin may be getting a weekly show on MSNBC.

The “30 Rock” star is “in discussions” with the network, but they haven’t reached a deal yet, a source familiar with the situation confirmed to POLITICO.

According to Mediate, which first reported the news, Baldwin’s show would air on Fridays at 10 pm.  MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell fills the 10 pm slot on Monday through Thursday, but the network doesn’t currently have a news show during that time on Friday.

A political junkie and outspoken liberal, Baldwin has shared his views on Twitter, a WNYC podcast called “Here’s the Thing” and a column on the Huffington Post.

Update: A spokesperson for MSNBC said in a statement, “We’re fans of Alec, but we don’t have anything to say regarding the unconfirmed reports.”

IRS And MSNBC Team Up To Crush Conservatives As Preacher Is Caught In The Crosshairs

The IRS’s scandalous snooping into the inner workings of Tea Party groups has exposed an erie alliance between the government and big-media groups such as MSNBC.

Bradlee Rachel Maddow IRS and MSNBC Team Up to Crush Conservatives as Preacher is Caught in the Crosshairs

As the American public reels from Congressional hearings about a KGB-style IRS that asks even what conservatives are praying about, the specter of a similar assault by the mainstream media is beginning to emerge. Case in point: MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow has accused one-time presidential candidate Michele Bachmann as well as preacher Bradlee Dean of calling for the “execution” of homosexuals. Neither has said this.

“I said no such thing, and now my life has been threatened,” says Dean, who has spoken to more than 300 schools on such subjects as drugs, the Constitution, America’s Biblical foundation, and the immorality of homosexuality. Maddow made the claim in a May 2011 broadcast; but on Dean’s Sons of Liberty radio show, he explained clearly that it is the Muslims who are calling for the execution of homosexuals in America. “I say this to my gay friends out there, the ones that continuously nitpick everything I say in their defense and for their eternal destination, Hollywood is promoting immorality and God of the Heavens in Jesus’ name is warning you to flee from the wrath to come, yet you have Muslims calling for your execution,“ Dean said on the show, discussed in his ministry’s article, “Explaining the Maddow Case.”

Bomb and Death Threats

After Maddow’s broadcast, Dean, his family, and his ministry began to receive death threats via emails and phone calls, threatening to bomb his headquarters. Other leftist blog and news sites posted Dean’s home address online while repeating Maddow’s false reporting.

“I took it on the chin at first,” said Dean. “But when I got death threats against my family, I knew I had to take action.”

(Rachel Maddow gets served)

Dean is now having to take on a biased judge, Judge Joan Zeldon, along with Maddow, since his defamation lawsuit against Maddow and MSNBC is on appeal right now, based in part on Judge Zeldon’s prejudice in the matter, as seen in her glowing description of MSNBC attorneys as being “distinguished.”

Media watchers well know that every liberal journalist has his ear to the ground waiting to see which way this judgment will go. Loss is not an option!  Defeat will smell like blood, and every conservative’s neck will be on the chopping block.

Join the Fight, and recieve a special gift from Bradlee Dean!

Defending American Honor

Dean says that his lawsuit is not about just defending his work as a preacher, musician, and speaker to youth assemblies, but says, “I’m defending every conservative leader in America who boldly stands up for God’s country and the Constitution — everyone who publicly stands for our Constitution, which our Founding Fathers and brave soldiers have fought, bled and died for.”

Dean says, “Do you think it’s right that conservative leaders preach the truth about America and get death threats? I’m sure you don’t. This lawsuit will defend our American honor as a Christian nation.  It must go forward. ”

He adds, “I must continue to reach the next generation to counter the crazy leftist garbage that’s coming out of our TV stations and leftist newsrooms.”

Like contestants on “Survivor” gathered around the campfire, Obama’s leftist government has winked and nudged its big-media friends in an alliance designed to attack conservative leaders in America.

Those who refuse to take it any more can now join the fight. They donate to Bradlee Dean’s ministry, You Can Run International, and also get a unique gift in return. Simply make a tax-deductible donation to Bradlee Dean, and you will receive a gift that you will proudly own.
